We give thanks to the following. Hopefully we didn't miss anyone.
Angie & Ken-for letting Tina shack up with you after our house sold. A huge thanks for pushing my car along Arapahoe Rd. when it stalled. That is friendship redefined.
Our friends in Colorado & Iowa-for giving us such great going away parties and for all of the memories those nights created.
Ken & Susie-for showing us around LA and letting us stay at your place before our trip began. The taco pizzas were a great sendoff before the cheap backpacker food kicked in.
J.T. and Andrea for letting us stay with them in New Zealand. Our home is your home if you're ever back in the States.
Michael Haami for giving us a traditional Maori welcome and showing us his Marae. It was an amazing treat.
The Picton, New Zealand police department for giving us real life CSI experience.
Paul, Danny, Cory and Selena for making our time in Vietnam so much fun!
The songthaew driver in Thailand for calling Tina a "Cheeky Monkey" when she stood up for our entire group when he was trying to rip us off.
The strangers who picked us up on the side of the road to give us a ride. I'm glad our backpacker look didn't scare you off. (Turkey, Croatia)
Mike and Maria for meeting us on a train and taking us into your home. You're generosity was unbelievable!
Radu for giving us a personal tour of Sibiu, Romania. We hope we can return the favor someday.
Marco and Uli for providing us with an incredible experience on your farm in Tuscany, Italy. We can't stop talking about it.
Mohammed, Brahim and his family for bringing us into their home and making us a traditional Moroccan meal, playing dress up with Tina and for showing us around Casablanca. It was a highlight of our trip.
Mike Munhall for the photography tips.
Matt Kaiser for being our biggest fan and knowing we would always have an email waiting for us at our next visit to an Internet cafe.
Tammy Young for letting us borrow your Thailand and Cambodia Lonely Planets. They definitely came in handy.
Dena for meeting us in Greece. What a blast! You bucked up and hauled our "new" gear out to Greece and the "old" stuff back to Iowa. What a trooper! And...another big thanks for trekking it over to Chicago to welcome us back and take us home to Iowa.
To the travelers that we met along the way, thanks for the tips and taking the time to swap tales from the road.
Erin & Matt for the warm welcome back home..from you two that is, the weather in Chicago was pretty intense. Our livers are still recovering, but it was a grand old time.
Last but certainly not least...our family and friends who supported us along the way. It meant the world to us that everyone was keeping us in their thoughts along our journey.
