Venice - Somewhat lost December 18, 2005 Italy

After talking to several people about Venice they told us that we were guaranteed to get lost while visiting the town. With our quick tour last night we noticed how true this could be. So we decided not to take a map with us at all today. This was a great way to explore Venice. While everybody else was studying their maps all day we just walked and walked and walked. The city is fabulous and we loved that there was no cars anywhere to watch out for. We ended up seeing most of the sights we wanted and made it back to our hotel without looking at a map all day.
